1-Folly Beach Pier
One of the longest piers on the Atlantic Coast, this popular spot has an observation deck and the Pier 101 Restaurant and Bar. There is also a gift and tackle shop, shower and changing rooms, restrooms. There is an ADA ramp to get up to the pier if steps are not for you.
2-Folly Beach County Park
Swimming beach with seasonal lifeguards and pelican rookery featured in a preserve. You can often see wind surfers at this spot. There is limited parking available. You can pay at the entrance of the lot. If you are a Charleston County resident, you can purchase a parking pass to access this parking lot (and the other county park parking lots in the area).
3-Folly River Park
Located in the heart of Downtown Folly Beach off center street, this park has swinging benches, and a boardwalk to enjoy. Enjoy the views and breezes. This park overlooks the Folly Creek. Stroll to this spot when you are in Folly Beach. You might even find a local artist market when you visit.
4-Bowen Island Resturaunt and Charleston Outdoor Adventures
Bowens Island Restaurant is an iconic and spot. It is known for a fun and casual vibe, seafood (especially oysters!) Have fun looking at all the graffiti on the walls left by generations of visitors. Looking for some active fun? Nextdoor is Charleston Outdoor Adventures. You can do guided kayak tours through the marshes to see local wildlife, paddle boarding, fishing tours and boat tours.
